Looks like a cylinder lawn mower, amazing how it actually flies. Not the prettiest of aeroplanes, but perhaps of its type, is one of the nicer concepts to look at.
Apparently the principle relates to the ‘Magnus Effect’ – which was discovered in the 1800s, it’s been used both for aircraft and even ships (need to look that up) – though all seem to be experimental, I wonder why?
